The Challenge

Usability Mapping needed a website redesign to better reflect their growing business.

Solutions

Website designed and developed, including web graphics aligned with the existing logo and colours. Content was simplified and refined to align with the new focus, while keeping core messaging intact.

What Was Done

Modern website, all webpages are designed and developed consistently with the approved homepage design.

News and single post pages set up and customised for a clean, modern layout. Posts refined and uploaded based on client-provided content.

Navigation restructured and tailored for professionals exploring training courses and looking to register.

Training platform customized, including completing flag display, automation, based on client requirements. Existing JavaScript modified to support this.

CSS modified and rearranged to align with the refreshed website’s brand colours and style.

Basic SEO setup included, with URL redirects ensuring visitors from old links are directed to the correct new pages.

How It Was Done

Phase 1 —Designed and launched the website, including navigation restructure and news functionality.

Phase 2 — Expanded and refined with content creation, training platform customisation, navigation refinements, news posts populated, and basic SEO setup.

Content simplified and refined to sharpen the messaging and improve clarity.

Custom graphics and images created and incorporated throughout, aligned with the existing brand colours and logo, with copywriting and existing copy and media organised across relevant sections.

Developed in active collaboration with client team.

Follow-Up Hero Slider & Illustration Project

16 illustrations developed in Adobe Illustrator based on client drafts and feedback, exported in WebP format for web performance.

Plugin researched and selected to meet client requirements. Slider customised for speed, transitions, and animation effects in collaboration with the client.

Alt text applied to all illustrations for accessibility.
