Ola, a seasoned career coach with a project management background, offers personalized coaching specifically designed for empowered immigrant professionals. As an immigrant himself, Ola understands the unique challenges newcomers face when navigating the competitive Canadian job market, especially during the crucial pre-arrival stage.
The Challenge: Ola’s success in helping immigrant professionals’ stories led to a surge in client inquiries. The manual booking process became overwhelmed, which required an effective system to manage the demand effectively.
The Solution: To smooth the booking process and enhance the client experience, a user-friendly website calendar booking system was implemented. This system allows clients to conveniently schedule appointments and make secure online payments. Additionally, automatic account creation upon booking eliminates the need for separate registration, saving clients time and optimizing the process.

Task 1: Design and Development
- Color: Forest green is chosen to effectively convey growth and trust and Navy blue is chosen for professionalism, security, and expertise, rounding out the brand image.
- Shape:
- Circle: The circle shape fosters a sense of openness and warmth which makes it feel welcoming and approachable.
- Arrow: The upward arrow within the corner is to subtly represent passion and success through guidance.
- Guidance: The enveloped arrow symbolizes support and direction in achieving goals. The corner adds a touch of grounding and balance to the overall design.
In the website design process, a homepage mockup was provided for client review and feedback, with all page styles aligning with the approved version of the homepage.
Security Measures: SSL, HTTP, and a reputable security plugin were set up for enhanced security. Google CAPTCHA was used to screen bots in the background.
Content was tailored for high education professionals looking to immigrate to Canada and newcomer professionals in Canada. It includes copywriting and multimedia elements.
The website was optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices to ensure a consistent and appealing appearance across all devices.
Task 2: Functionality and Integration
- Plugin Selection: The plugin was carefully chosen after research, discussions, and collaboration with the client.
- Customization: I customized the booking form and notification settings to align with the brand and user preferences, ensuring the best experience for the brand.
- Auto Account Creation: An auto account creation system was implemented upon booking. Booking clients can access their accounts via the login panel on the website.
- WooCommerce Integration: Individual service booking pages were integrated with WooCommerce, allowing for detailed descriptions and a seamless booking experience at the same time.
Basic SEO Optimization: Basic SEO optimizations, including keyword research and content refinement, were applied to the main pages. Best onpage SEO practices has been applied.
Security Measures: SSL was set up, HTTPS was enforced, and Google CAPTCHA and a security plugin were implemented to ensure the website’s security.
